Mike McShane is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in Film Studies. He has been the in–house lighting and sound designer for the Acrosstown Repertory Theater since 2004. He recently designed lights for the Florida premier of Tom Dudzick's Greetings! Mike will be performing as Speed in The Odd Couple and as part of the Chorus in the University of Floridašs production of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado. He is also covering the roles of Pish-Tush, Pooh-Bah, and the Mikado. He will be designing and operating sound at the Barn Theatre for its summer stock shows including Les Misérables.

Mike is in post–production for a film called You Are Not Frank Sinatra set to premier in Summer 2008. Mike's film The Votive Pit starring Sara Morsey, Scot Davis, and Shamrock McShane will be available in April through BSide Entertainment on DVD with audio commentary by Shamrock McShane and Scot Davis.
